3.6V bulb ophthalmoscope head only for your existing 3.6V Standard, Professional or Practitioner Keeler handle (sold separately). Red cap indicates 3.6V handle.
Features a greater number of beams and filters to provide improved diagnostic capabilities
- 28 focusing lenses with a power range of +40D to -25D, adjustable via easy-to-reach maywheel
- Swing over red-free (green) filter - for easy identification of veins, arteries and nerve fibres
- Cobalt blue filter - used with flourescein dye to view small lesions, abrasions and foreign objects on the cornea
- Integral soft brow-rest suitable for use with spectacles
- Smooth, variable illumination strength via the rheostat handle
- Manufactured in the UK
Five diagnostic beams for full diagnostic capability:
- Wide Angle - general examination of the eye through dilated pupil
- Macula - provides excellent view of fundus through an undilated pupil
- Intermediate - allows quick entry into small, undilated pupils and in peripheral examination. Ideal for paediatrics.
- Slit - to determine retinal elevations and depressions of lesions and tumours. Used to access the anterior chamber depth.
- Fixation Cross - projects a graticule onto the retina for measuring eccentric fixation or locating lesions
